I'm happy to present at last the "secret project" I've been working on lately: 25 Christmas-themed felt finger puppets were ordered from me for a "Santa Claus (team-building) party". Yes, here in Hungay Father Christmas does NOT sneak into good children's houses at Christmas through the chimney, but puts his small presents and sweets in good boys' and girls' previously cleaned boots put on the windowsill on 6th December! The question may rise then in those who are not quite familiar with this Central European custom: who brings the presents at Christmas and puts them under the Christmas Tree? Little Jesus, of course! :) I was so indulged in making these puppets that I made exactly 43! (Plus the fluffy raincloud and many other Christmas ornaments to be posted later on!)
It is again a last-minute DIY Christmas gift idea, since you need only an hour (and some felt scraps) to make a couple of these, and they are a nice present for people of all ages (nice toy also if you don't use tiny components or glue when making them). You can design your own pieces, or get inspiration from the internet.
És ha valaki kinőtt már az ujjbáb-játékból? Kell egy tű, egy szép zsinór vagy cérna, és ezek máris a karácsonyfa vagy az asztali dísz ékességei lehetnek! :) Íme:
And for someone who is really bored with finger puppets, you can still thread a pretty silver cord into the upper part of the puppets to ornate the Christmas Tree or a centerpiece! :) Just like this:
